Bachelor of Business Administration
(BBA-Tourism & Travel Management)

The Bachelor of Business Administration (Tourism & Travel Management) is an Under Graduate degree Program offered under SEP-2024 Scheme for 3 years. This degree aims to equip students with an analytical, strategic and policy making skills required for sustainable Tourism Management both Business, Private / Public Sectors. BBA (TTM) students learn Accounting, HRM, Marketing, Aviation and Hospitality Management subjects with adequate soft-skills and ICT training. This degree program also covers field visits, internship programs and project report including study tours. BBA (TTM) department has been established in the year 2007 under the financial assistance of Department of Tourism, Government of Karnataka.

Career Options: After BBA (TTM) degree, students can pursue MBA (TTM), MBA (General). There are several career options available to the students after completing BBA (TTM) Program, such as Travel Agency, Tourism Agency, Hospitality Industry, Airline Industry, Event Management, Destination Management etc. Students are also eligible take- up any examinations which State and Central Government conducts.

The entire BCOM/BBA/BBA(T&T) Program would have
4 X 6 =24 Discipline Specific Courses
Two Elective Papers

Five Languages: English, Kannada, Hindi, Sanskrit, and Urdu; which would be offered in the, I, II, III and IV semester and the students are required to select any two among the languages offered and study them during their first four semesters.

Six Compulsory Papers
In total 40 Papers would be studied by the student

Internal Assessment and Semester end Examination
The Marks would be split into Internal and Semester End Exam in the ratio of 20: 80 ratio
For 100 Marks Paper of 4 Credits
IA would be for 20 Marks, and the Semester end Examination would be for 80 Marks For 50 Marks Paper of 2 Credits
IA would have 10 Marks, and the Semester end Examination would be for 40 Marks
IA Marks would be further divided into two components

Electives offered during the third and fourth semester would be to the students of other degree programmes, and the students of BCOM/BBA/BBA(T&T) Program would be required to select and study electives offered by any other degree programmes and secure credits from such programmes
